I wanted to take just a brief moment and let everyone know there are a lot of changes coming in the next few weeks. some of them will be fairly significant while others not so much so. The first item of importance, however, is that I am featuring a holiday promotion on all prints. The reduction is geared to make your holiday shopping go just a tad easier on you and your pocketbook. We are not cutting quality just the pricing. Each of the online galleries will be moved over to our Pictage partnership one at a time for the promotion. The new wedding site is nearly live. Yes we have realized that trying to be everything to everyone just leaves most confused and regretfully sometimes put off. My intention years back when I started this business was to offer couples, families, and seniors an amazing photographic product and service system without requiring significant financial burdens to attain that product or service. As this has certainly been a tuff year for most we decided to take a step back, eliminate the costly overhead, and restructure so that we could go back to what we, I, do best. Below are a few samples for a recent senior session. It was truly an honor to photograph Ashley. It was a few years back I had the privilege of photographing her sister for her senior pictures. Wow, time has flown. Ashley was a blast and her smile just lit up the camera room and every other area for that matter. When I lost my stepdad this year to cancer, one fact became almost too painful for me to deal with. Michael's Artistic Imagery is currently seeking an in-house image editor. This person will work approximately 10-15 hours editing images from photographic sessions. The edit process involves sorting images from shoot into two folders, keeps and rejects. Once the initial sort is complete the keeps are then color corrected if needed and adjusted for clarity, contrast, exposure, and sharpness as needed. The ideal candidate will be familiar with digital photography processes. Ideally this person should have working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom.
